Greetings everyone!

This is my entry to the 2013 Gundam Model Kit Contest: the 1/100 Master Grade AGE-1S Gundam
AGE-1 Spallow ver. EVA.
I joined in the Pro-Open Category and was among the 40+ 1/100 Non-Grade and Master Grade entries.
The model was entry #22.

The contest was held from May 19 to May 26, 2013 at the Annex of SM City North EDSA.

The champion of the Pro-Open Category was Carmina Medel and her super-shiny Master Grade Sinanju.

This Spallow was done in EVA-01 colors, as I thought it fits the body type of the Gundam.

The color scheme was originally done in my HG Spallow which was supposed to be my entry for the local leg of the Gunpla Builders’ World Cup.

I honestly had the kit rushed and came up with a broken race car spoiler on the Spallow’s back and several dents all over the kit
So there’s a tip: never cram and never haste when doing
Gunpla.
Plan your paintjob way ahead of schedule, I certainly didn’t do that.

It was still nice however, to see my entry on other blogs that covered the event.

Paints used:

Tamiya TS-57 Blue Violet
Tamiya TS Lime Green
Tamiya TS-31 Bright Orange
Tamiya TS-6 Matt Black
Tamiya TS-14 Black
Tamiya TS-21 Gold
Tamiya TS-38 Gun Metal
Tamiya TS-17 Gloss Aluminum
Tamiya TS-4 German Grey
Tamiya XF-8 Flat Blue
Tamiya XF-2 Flat White
Mr. Hobby Matt Topcoat
