Hello sir. Sending in photos of the RG Mk-II Titans version.

Here’s a little description:

“Every May, Bankee Trading hosts the annual Gundam Model Kit Contest. A mid-year competition that encourages Gunpla enthusiasts to submit model kits purchased from (either) Toy Kingdom (or Toys R’ Us), and have them built as the manual tells you to, but give them a different vibe by giving them a new color scheme.

This is my third time joining the event. The first time I joined was back in 2012, and I landed a spot in the top 3 at one category with the Gundam AGE-2 Normal. I joined again last year with the Gundam AGE-1 Sparrow but didn’t land a spot. This time I challenged myself by doing something difficult: hand-painting camouflage patterns on small parts, by entering a contest with a Real Grade kit.

I was originally going to enter with a Master Grade Full Armor Gundam. But seeing how it was priced I resorted to a Wing Gundam Fenice and its support unit, the Meteor Hopper. I have already bought the Fenice and the Hopper but was able to lay eyes on this RG kit and its corresponding water slide decal set. I ended up getting the Gundam Mk II and started on it immediately to avoid cramming and rushing it up before the deadline.

It took me a total of several days, maybe ten days in all to complete the model and have it painted as planned. It was submitted on May 11 and was on-display for a week at the Activity Area of SM City North EDSA Annex.

Surely I didn’t land a spot, but the completion of the project was well worth it.”
