Bandai Namco Group will participate in FORMULA 1™ Las Vegas Grand Prix to be held from November 17th to 19th, 2023 through Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. as “Gundam Project”.
At this event, Bandai Namco Group announced a partnership with the F1 team “Scuderia AlphaTauri”.
Through this partnership, decals with the motifs of “RX-78-2 Gundam” and “XVX-016 Gundam Aerial” from the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series will be added to Scuderia AlphaTauri’s F1 machine, AT04.
Additionally, a 2-meter Gundam statue will be installed at the circuit, and various Gundam-themed contents will be held, including specially designed Gunpla and a pop-up store.
To commemorate this, the Gunpla “PG UNLEASHED 1/60 RX-78-2 GUNDAM (SCUDERIA ALPHATAURI LIVERY)” designed exclusively for Scuderia AlphaTauri has been released, and in addition, “THE GUNDAM BASE” will be released during the Las Vegas GP weekend. Two pop-up stores are scheduled to open.
Additionally, a promotional video featuring Yuki Tsunoda wearing a racing suit inspired by a Gundam pilot has also been released.
