It is essentially a comprehensive catalog of almost every mobile suit (MS) and mobile armor (MA) that had appeared in the Gundam franchise up to that point (around early 2003).

It’s not a “pretty picture book” with only finished color art — it’s more of a working/reference-style guide heavily focused on clean line art, mechanical diagrams, and catalog-style presentation. Many fans used (and still use) it as a visual encyclopedia of Gundam mecha designs up to 2003.
