The concept of the special-edition unit is a phone that would be government-issued by the Nerv organization in the world of the new Evangelion films. The phone is slated to go on sale in June, and the mmbi booth at Anime Contents Expo had a display during the March 31-April 1 weekend. However, the booth showcased a static mockup; the above video is the first public preview of the phone’s custom interface in action.
