G – Who is Hiroaki Yoshimatsu in the Modelers World? And where do you come from?
H -Hi there, my name is Hiroaki Yoshimatsu, I am photographer in Japan for a products and the people, etc, etc… I take a photo and do to edit and manipulate work, this is my job. Also I take a some figure and plastic model pic for fun.
こんにちはみなさん、私は吉松宏晃といいます。 日本で物撮りや人物その他いろいろな撮影をしているカメラマンで、写真を編集し合成など仕事でやっております。 また趣味でフィギュアやプラモデルの写真なども撮影しています。
G – When did you start building Plastic Models?
H -I started build up to plastic model at 12 but almost I didn’t build up any plastic model until last year oct. I think I am like a still beginner.
プラモデル作りは12歳の時にはじめましたが、実はつい去年の10月までほとんど作ることなどしていませんでした。と言うことで私はほとんど初心者のようなものだと思っています。
G – Do you collect also action figures?
H -Yes, Also I have few collects action figures especially Kaijyu and Robot of Japanese Tokusatsu. I using for Digital manipulate art work.
はい、少しアクションフィギュアを集めていますが、特に怪獣や特撮系のロボットなどですね。 それらを使ってデジラマを作成をやっています。
G – Do you have some inspiration for your creations?
H – I went to movie school, and then I saw a lot of movie scene and I think I got many inspiration from that. And also I’ve seeing other artists creations on the net.
私は映画学校に行きましたので、そこから沢山の映画のシーンを見てインスピレーションを受けていると思います。またネットから多くのアーティストの作品を見ています。
G – What do You use to photograph your models or action figures?
H – First time, I used to Kaijyu figure then I created composite with that. but I thought that it need a real human figure. Well, I bought Hot Toys 1/6 actionfigure and doing to work for manipulate with all now. (Now I adding Gunpla to my art work)
最初は怪獣のフィギュアを使い制作していましたが、やはりリアルな人物などが必要だと思ったものですから、ホットトイズの1/6アクションフィギュアを購入し今はそれらを使ってデジラマ制作をしています。(今はそこにガンプラも加わえています)
G – What do you think about Gunpla in all the World? modelers, attitude, modelers behavior etc..
H – I got Gunpla first time at 12, that was look like very cheap kit and design too. But now I got very impressive new Gunpla kit, these are finaly detail and make it easy. I’m happy that many people starting build up to Gunpla all of the world now, we couldn’t get imagine of it when I was young. That is excellent to people having exchange information and share many photo of Gunpla on the net now. I love it!
12歳の時にガンプラを初めて手にして、それらは本当にチャチでデザインもそうでしたが、今ではとっても感動したのが精巧なデティールにその組みやすさですねぇ。 また多くの世界中の人達がガンプラの情報交換を行いまた写真などをシェアしているのがとてもうれしいです。
G – Please some advices for modelers that wanna start building a gunpla or a plastic model in general for the very first time!
H – Let’s just try to touch and make it, and you can think about do to next step what do you want and need. Discover you own way.
とにかく触れて、そして作ってみる、すればおのずと次は何がやりたいか、何が必要かが導き出されてくるのではないでしょうか。

G – Future Projects?
H – I want to have a private exhibition some where, and also want to make a photo book. And I will try to take a 3D printer, I will make a lot of build up parts and some stuff of diorama stage. I guess it will get more improve to my art work and skill by them.
個展を開きたいですねぇいつか、そして写真集もだしてみたいです。 それと3Dプリンターを使って沢山のビルドアップパーツとジオラマステージの道具などを作っていく予定です。 たぶんそれらがより一層作品を向上させるのではないかと思います。
