Gunjap InterviewsHi World, Gunjap Interviews today with Seth Tuna. Let’s Start!

[G: Gunjap]
[S: Seth Tuna]

G – Who is Seth Tuna in the Gunpla Modelers World? And where do you come from?

S – Hi , I come from Ho Chi Minh City – Viet Nam , and Seth Tuna is absolutely not my real name and I’d love to keep it that way since most of Vietnamese modelers call me by that. I’m admin of Supreme Mecha – a facebook group which is dedicated to every Vietnamese who loves gunpla/modeling .

G – When did you start building Gunpla?
And when did you made your first Custom?

S – My first contact with Gunpla , it’s last year. I had no ideas about Gunpla at all . I went to a local mall and passed by Bandai’s store and saw that freaking MG Ex-S , I lost my mind… purchased it right the way. I started weathering my kits with pens and some other crazy stuffs . Then after a while of googling about painting , i decided to get hands on true painting with air brush.
Then , I was first succeeded on building MG Nu Gundam with special leg, torso reworked. And it was also my second full painted MG too

1G – Do you have some inspiration for your creations?

S – Yes of course. Throught gaming, googling and checkin on famous websites/ blogs for gunpla customs. But I dont like to copy any of those, that’s a very bad idea, cuz those customs are theirs, they are professional than myself, they own their creations. So , usually I pick some of this , some of that, and think of something else – much better on my own – different from any inspiration I checked

G – After you have finished snap-fitting a model, from where do you start to mod it?

S – I loves the legs and weapons and led builds . Especially Led moding, is my favorite. I started building a 1/48 Banshee Gundam head display I got from purchasing magazine. That’s how i first build leds into a kit. To me , by installing leds, we make our gunpla more lively !

G – What do you think about GBWC Event?

S – … All the works are fantasic… I’d love to see GBWC happens in Vietnam . I wish one day I’ll be able to attend GBWC…

G – Please some advices for modelers that wanna start building a gunpla for the very first time!

S – Love everything you do on your kit . Becareful with every steps and you’re good as a pro.
Try to build something on your own. Do not copy any one, cuz you are unique!
Dont be afraid of trying new stuffs to put on your models, cuz WHO KNOWS !
