誠一’s Mixing / scratch build 1/144 Zaku Tank (Requiem For Vengeance) images, info, credits
From the Modeler:
“Requiem” Zaku Tank is finished.
It took one month to create, and was created using the front and back tilt diagram of the official CG as a reference.
There was a lack of setting materials, and the 2D three-dimensionalization had many inconsistencies, so I ignored or deformed the parts I didn’t understand, thinking that I would be able to figure it out later.
There were many mishaps during the creation process, but I managed to complete it somehow.
The Zaku from the waist up was copied from a Solari Zaku using UV resin.
The shoulders and upper arms were modified from an F2 Zaku.
The shoulder cannon was modified from an HG Ball.
The Magella base is made from the old Magella Attack kit, and the road wheels, tracks and part of the chassis from the Zaku Tank.
The rest is scratch-made.
The basic paint was done using spray cans.
Green Tamiya TS-61
Black Tamiya TS-6
Power pipe Tamiya TS-48
Dozer plate Tamiya TS-100
After painting, I stained it with Mr. Weathering Color Sandy Wash, Stain Brown, Ground Brown, and Weathering Pastel Sand.
The back of the dozer plate was created based on a bulldozer image.
I prefer it without the shoulder cannon, so I made it removable.
