penny_1x’s HGUC 1/144 MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki illustration style (Anime style) Painting: images, info and credits
From the Modeler:
This is the HG 1/144 Hyaku Shiki.
The opportunity to know about illustration-style painting was the Hyaku Shiki by Kyo-san, a big name in this field.
I finally made a kit that I had been wanting to make someday.
If you look at it, it’s the usual taste, but it may be the most careful work I’ve ever done.
The gold is basically expressed in three colors. I tried to find a way to express it with as few steps as possible, and it turned out like this.
I think it’s a very good kit, but the only thing that was difficult was putting it back in the binder, so I made it like this.
I used my usual homemade parts for the flat hands. The knuckle guards are removable with magnets.
I printed the Hyaku emblem with HiQ Parts’ Clear Decal TH. It may be thin for a homemade decal, but it’s still quite thick, so I worked hard to remove the unevenness
The base is a gradient paint, so I had to fight the fear of not making any mistakes
