Kekko-Kamen Reborn: Live-action film 1st Preview Video, Info
The Japanese film news website Cinema Today began streaming a trailer on Monday for the new live-action adaptation of Go Nagai’s original Kekko Kamen manga, titled Kekko-Kamen Reborn. Adult video actress Aino Kishi will star as the film’s title character, a young heroine who wears nothing but a red mask, boots, gloves, and a scarf.

The story of the original manga revolves around a student named Mayumi Takahashi who transfers to a high school that is known for its perverted teachers who sexually harass the female students. However, the masked heroine Kekko-Kamen comes to the rescue of the harassed students.
Nagai’s original manga previously inspired an original video anime (OVA) and several live-action films. The North American distributor ADV Films released the OVA in April 2008. Media Blasters released the Kekko-Kamen, Kekko Kamen: The MGF Strikes Back!, and Kekko Kamen Surprise!! live-action films in North America in 2005.
The new film will premiere at the Ginza Cine Pathos theater in Tokyo’s Ginza district on June 2.
