Gundam UC Manga Launches with Bright Noa as Protagonist!

Author Harutoshi Fukui and artist Hiyon Katsuragi launched their KidÅ Senshi Gundam UC: Niji ni Norenakatta Otoko (Mobile Suit Gundam UC: The Man Who Could Not Ride the Rainbow) manga in the 18th issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Newtype Ace magazine on Saturday.
The manga is an adaptation of Fukui’s Mobile Suit Gundam UC novel and anime franchise. It is set immediately after the events of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack film and follows the growth of Bright Noa, the commander of three successive Gundam Newtype ace pilots. In addition to the manga, the magazine published an interview with Fukui.
Katsuragi also drew the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: First Evolution manga in Kadokawa Shoten’s Gundam Ace magazine in 2011.
