Cosplay News: Brazil Wins World Cosplay Summit 2011 (w/No.24 Large Images)
This year’s grand prize winners were the representatives from Brazil, Maurício Somenzari and Mônica Somenzari, cosplaying as Balthier and Ultima from the Final Fantasy XII role-playing game.
Italy’s Daniela Maiorana and Marika Roncon dressed as Chocolat Meilleur and Vanilla Mieux from Sugar Sugar Rune and won the Bushiroad Prize.
China’s Deng Ya Qian and Zheng Jia Hong won third place (Tokai Walker Prize) with their Dynasty Warriors 7 costumes as Diao Chan and Cai Wenji.
The last three years’ grand prize winners were Italy (2010), Japan (2009), and Brazil (2008).
