LEDsen’s HGUC Prototype Gundam

Accurate reproduction of the Prototype Gundam based on the HGUC 1/144 Revive series, made by LEDsen. Images, information and credits

From the Modeler:

3rd Revive

Now that I think about it, I’ve never done it properly, so I decided to try to make a prototype

Arm slits, ankles, meat removal, rifle, butt bulge, right side armor, etc. I was surprised to find that there were a lot of changes when I looked into it, but I think I was able to pick up quite a lot

The rifle was the hardest, and the top is the before

One photo with it equipped, simple and cool

This is a photo before painting, in addition to the modifications necessary for prototyping, I also tweaked it quite a bit to make the Revive look a bit thin. I think changing the height of the instep and making the shoulder armor smaller were quite effective

One photo with a pose, yes, it’s cool

I added a lot of details this time too, and since it’s a small unit, I paid attention to the sense of scale. I posted this on Twitter, but I carved the grooves with a spring compass without any guide tape or anything like that. I recommend it, and it hasn’t broken in 6 years

So that was the prototype Gundam. Thank you for watching until the end! Actually, I gave up on making the Revive Gundam twice before because I couldn’t make it well, so I was happy to finally get revenge
